A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics will enable you to think mathematically and to develop yourskills at problem solving.
Course Details
In Pure maths you will build upon the A level maths pure topics and take your understanding deeper andbroader. You will develop your ability to write with greater mathematical fluency. Students also choose twoof three applied unit options. We teach all three units and allow students to choose their best two.

How you will be assessed
Your assessment will be 100% exam based and all of these will take place in June of Year 13.
Entry requirements
Most students choosing Further Maths study a total of four A levels. For this, you will need to have a minimum of four grade 7s and three grade 6s at GCSE. A minimum of Grade 7 is required in GCSE maths.
