100% exam-based assessment in the second year.
Paper 1- Markets and Market Failure:
Focuses on microeconomic principles, including supply and demand, market structures, government intervention, and causes of market failure.
Paper 2- National and International Economy:
Concentrates on macroeconomic topics like economic growth, inflation, unemployment, fiscal and monetary policy, and international trade.
Paper 3- Economic Principles and Issues:
A synoptic paper combining micro and macro.
Entry requirements
As well as our standard entry requirements for level 3 (5 GCSE passes included English), you will need a 5 in English Language and 5 in Maths.
