About Us
> log on | move on> is a careers resource for young people aged 13-19 (up to 25 years old with an EHCP) who reside in Hull and the East Riding.
This website is a collaborative venture between East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Hull City Council. We maintain and develop the site, to help with this we consult our partners (see link below for details) on a regular basis and ask for their feedback on all aspect of the site - its design, function and navigation. Click here to view the results of our latest Feedback Questionnaires. Post 16 colleges and training providers upload their own courses and content, while schools manage their learner accounts.
Young people can request log in details through their school, or get access independently by self-registering for an account. Electively home educated young people can also self-register. Once registered, users can login to access:
- the CV Writer: create your own CV with helpful hints and tips; save, email or download.
- the Skills Passport: observe, log and work on your transferable skills for the world of work.
- the This Is Me SEND tool: designed for those young people who are preparing for adulthood.
You can access some content on the main website without logging in. Explore the Opportunities, Events and the Information & Inspiration pages to find loads of free and useful resources about the world of work, careers, education and more to help you enhance your understanding and increase your confidence to make informed decisions about your future.
To create an account, simply click on the Your Account button at the top right hand of the home screen, from the two options select "Sign Up" and follow the guidance to create your account.
