On successful completion, you can progress into further study, apprenticeships or careers across the uniformed protective services. Progression routes include:
* Police officer, PCSO or police staff roles * Fire and Rescue Service careers * Armed Forces (Army, Royal Navy, Royal Marines or RAF) * NHS Ambulance Service and Paramedic Science pathways * Prison and probation services * Border Force, immigration enforcement and government protective services * Community safety and emergency planning roles.
The qualification is equivalent to three A Levels and carries UCAS points, supporting progression to degrees such as Policing, Criminology, Paramedic Science, Public Services, Criminal Justice, Law, Sociology and Psychology. This course prepares you with the discipline, confidence, knowledge and practical skills required for progression into meaningful and rewarding protective service careers.
