Marketing theories and techniques–Explores key marketing principles, models, and strategies used to influence consumer behaviour and drive business success
Understanding business organisations–Learn how different types of businesses are structured, operate, and interact within the wider economic environment
How businesses market their products and services– Look at the methods and channels businesses use to promote and sell their offerings to target audiences
The use of digital marketing and creating a marketing campaign– Gain hands-on experience in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns using modern tools and platforms
Communication skills for work– Develop effective verbal and written communication skills essential for professional environments

How will it be delivered and assessed?
Assessment of the BTEC Marketing qualification is by externally set assignments and an examination. The assessment of the event planning is by internally set assignments and practical tasks.
This course is classroom based and you will be encouraged to use our on-line learning resources to further support and develop your knowledge, skills and exam technique away from the classroom. Guest speakers and external business-related activities really bring your business subjects to life.
You will undertake work experience as part of this programme.
