This course will allow you to concentrate on your GCSE maths or English qualification whilst studying Neuroscience in Early Years. You will be able to supplement your Level 2 Early Years qualification by studying Neuroscience in Early Years, giving you insights into brain development in the early years.

Achievement of this course and your maths or English GCSE at Grade 4 will then allow you to access Level 3 programmes, including T levels in Education and Childcare.

We will also deliver employability skills to make sure you are ready for a work experience placement in the early years sector, and offer short additionalities such as digital skill and sustainability to develop skills and knowledge even further.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Work experience - is a mandatory element of this programme. You will work alongside an employability and placement advisor to source work experience opportunities and prepare you for industry experience related to your programme of study and overall career goals. You will need to complete an external work experience placement of 120 hours over the year.

Trips, visits & guest speakers - You will benefit from guest speakers in the sector to give you real life insight into working in early years and potentially visits into industry or Higher Education Institutions.
