Ready to develop your beauty skills and start your journey towards a career in the beauty industry? Our VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Studies is designed to give you the practical skills, confidence and industry knowledge you need to take your first steps into professional beauty therapy.

You’ll learn in a professional, realistic salon environment, developing your skills through hands-on training and working with clients. From consultation through to delivering treatments, you’ll build the confidence and professionalism needed to work in a real salon.

Our aim is to help you complete the programme feeling confident, capable and ready to take your first steps into the beauty industry.

By completing your Level 2 qualification and developing your practical experience, you can progress into employment or an apprenticeship and work towards a role as a Beauty Therapist or Junior Beauty Therapist.

You’ll develop more than just treatment skills. You’ll build the confidence, communication, consultation, professionalism and client care needed to deliver high-quality treatments and create a great client experience.

Whether you dream of becoming a Beauty Therapist, working in a salon or spa, specialising in a particular treatment, working in the wider beauty industry or eventually running your own business, this course gives you the skills and foundation to start building your career.

Maths and English

Alongside your Beauty Therapy course, you’ll also continue working on your Maths and English. If you achieve a Grade 3 or below in Maths and English, you’ll work towards Functional Skills qualifications as part of your programme.

If you achieve a Grade 4 or above, then you will be exempt from completing Maths and English.

Grade 3 or above in Maths and English, however, we do review on a case by case basis. This qualification includes a range of assignments, exams and practical assessments.

Learners must be keen to learn, and be able to commit to 2.5 - 3 days attendance per week. Our expected minimum attendance is above 90%.
