Unity in Community (Study Programme)

This is a 20-week programme in construction (Carpentry) for young people to gain accredited certificates, work experience and essential life skills. Providing accessible education tailored made for the local area. This Study Programme offers on-site construction experience refurbishing local properties. Candidates have the potential to progress onto an apprenticeship or employment. This Study Programme now includes:

• Level 1 (20 week programme) and
• Level 2 (1 year) and includes a Level 2 City and Guilds Diploma in Site Carpentry.

Monday to Thursday, 28 hours a week for 20 weeks.

Venue: This Study Programme is run from the Unity in the Community building - 372 Greenwood Avenue, Hull, HU6 8UP.

Tutorials and non-accredited training support to prepare the individual for work, further education or training. Work experience is offered by external employers.

16-18 years old.

Progression for employment, apprenticeships or further education.
