We offer a range of VTCT qualifications, so whether you’re just starting out or ready to develop your professional skills, there’s a pathway for you:

VTCT Level 1 Diploma in an Introduction to the Hair & Beauty Sector

A great starting point if you’re new to Hair & Beauty and want to explore the industry before progressing to Level 2.

VTCT Level 1 Diploma in Hairdressing

A hair-focused Level 1 programme for learners who already know that hairdressing is the pathway they want to explore.

VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing Studies

Develop professional hairdressing skills and gain the confidence and practical experience to progress towards working as a Junior Stylist.

VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Studies

Build your practical beauty therapy skills and prepare for employment, an apprenticeship or further study within the beauty industry.

VTCT Level 2 Diploma in NVQ Nail Technology

Develop professional nail technology skills and build the confidence to progress towards a career as a Nail Technician.

VTCT Level 3 Progression programmes also available on completion of Level 2 qualifications.

Real industry experience

We believe the best way to prepare for a career is to experience what it’s actually like to work in the industry!

That’s why our programmes include meaningful work experience, giving you the opportunity to experience a real working environment, develop your workplace skills, build confidence and understand what employers expect.

You’ll also learn in our professional salon environment, giving you the opportunity to develop your practical skills and experience working with clients as you progress, as well as in external salon placements.

Maths & English

Alongside your vocational qualification, you’ll continue developing your Maths and English skills. If you have achieved a GCSE Grade 3 or below, or did not sit your GCSEs, you’ll work towards Functional Skills qualifications alongside your Hair & Beauty studies.

Your time at Niche is about much more than your qualification. You’ll take part in a full Hair & Beauty industry-related enrichment programme, designed to help you discover new opportunities, develop your confidence and find out where your skills could take you.

You could take part in industry workshops, competitions, careers activities, specialist sessions and other experiences designed to broaden your knowledge and help you connect your learning to the real world.
