Course Summary

The T-Level in Health prepares you to progress onto university or to start an apprenticeship or career in theHealth and Social Care sectors. The course provides work experience as an integral part of the course, givingyou the opportunity to put theory into practice whilst developing the skills necessary for a future career withinthe Health or Social Care sector.

Course Details

You will learn core contemporary knowledge required to be successful in the health sector. This includes thestructure of the health and science sector, working in the health and science sector, providing person-centredcare, safeguarding and promoting health and wellbeing. You will also study scientific and clinical practicescovering elements of physics, chemistry and biology, as well as occupational specialisms. As part of thisqualification, you will gain practical care skills. Within the course you will complete at least 45 days/ 315 hours ofwork experience with our partners in the healthcare sector.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Entry requirements

Minimum grade point average of 4.5 across at least 5 GCSEs. Merits or above from vocational courses will be taken into consideration. GCSEs must include Maths, English and Science at Grade 4 or higher. You will also be required to complete a DBS check.
