Course Summary
This course enables students to progress onto university or to start an apprenticeship or into a career in Health and Social Care. It can support students progressing directly into employment, onto degrees and apprenticeships in teaching or early childhood studies or work as a teaching assistant – to name just a few! The T-Level qualification in Education & Childcare allows you direct access to work with regional organisations and partners to achieve the best possible experiences in education and childcare. You will benefit from our partnership as a World Class School, and as a leading regional trainer in education through the Vantage Teaching School Hub, students will experience high quality teaching and learning alongside industry specialists. As the largest Catholic trust in the country, our partnership with 15 regional schools ensures that all work experience is integral to the course and gives students the opportunity to put theory into practice. During these placements students will also develop the skills necessary for a future career within the Education and Child Care sector. By applying independent research skills students are encouraged to reflect on their attributes and own professional development throughout the course.
Course Details
Students receive engaging input in lessons that involves discussion, group work and presentations. An industry-based project is then required, allowing students to develop excellent organisational and independent research skills and allows the students to apply practical applications to the theories studied in class.
