This one-year, full-time programme is your direct route into the decorating trade, designed for learners ready to develop their skills and knowledge to industry standards.

The course combines theory and practical workshop learning, giving you a balanced understanding of both the technical and hands-on aspects of painting and decorating. Each unit includes an end of unit test so you can track your progress and build your confidence.

Entry requirements

4 x GCSEs at grade 4(C) or above, including Maths and English.

On successful completion, you’ll achieve a recognised Level 2 qualification that prepares you for employment or an apprenticeship in painting and decorating.
