Course Summary

About this course

With the automotive industry continuing to expand, employers are facing significant skills shortages—making 42% of roles challenging to fill. This growing demand means there are ongoing opportunities for individuals with the right training and hands-on experience.

Our training facilities replicate the environment of a professional garage, equipped with industry-standard tools such as Snap-on code readers, Bosch KTS diagnostic systems, and PicoScope oscilloscopes.

This programme goes beyond technical training. You’ll develop a broad set of transferable skills across automotive, construction, and building services. You’ll also gain a workshop licence and future-focused knowledge in areas like electric vehicle servicing, intelligent safety technologies, and hydrogen-powered vehicles.

While working on a range of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models, you’ll learn how to safely remove and replace key systems such as tyres, brakes, and suspension. You’ll also explore the fundamentals of engines and electrical systems, alongside topics like chassis and frame construction, transmission systems, and routine vehicle maintenance.
