A Level Classics has been designed to provide students with a broad, coherent, and rewarding study of the literature and culture of the classical world.
Course Details
It involves the study of the works of major Greek and Roman authors in English translation.
- Component 1: The World of the Hero - Homer’s Iliad or Odyssey, Virgil’s Aerneid
- Component 2: Culture and the Arts - Greek Theatre
- Component 3: Beliefs and Ideas - Love and Relationships
