Low cost scooter rental might be an option for East Riding residents struggling to get to work in rural areas. If you or anybody you know live in the East Riding, are aged 18 or over and struggle to get to work or training due to transport issues then the Kickstart scheme might be able to help.

Kickstart (also known as Wheels to Work) is a national scheme, run locally by a team in the council. If you are eligible, you’ll be able to hire a scooter for a monthly fee which includes insurance and servicing costs. So all you need to do is add fuel and a helmet, and you’re good to go.
