Course Summary
This is a 20 week programme to prepare you for work in a variety of enviroments as well as also looking at being in business for yourself. We will work with you to find a suitable work placement dependant on your vocational choice.
Course Details
You will spend three days developing your employability skills / functional skills (if required) and the rest of the week you will be at your work placement. You will also receive IAG (Information, Advice & Guidance) and take part in a community project as part of the programme.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
You will spend 3 days in-centre at McArthur Dean Training in Hull. This will be to focus on your employability skills, embedding maths and English, and to help your confidence. You will also spend 2 days on a placement, gaining work experience.
Entry requirements
You should be keen and eagar to take first steps into chosen career, specific GCSE's not specified but you will take part in an assessment to check suitability.
