Course Summary

This course aims to equip our students with the skills, knowledge, values, and resilience to make a positive contribution to the world in which they live. Sport is one of the fastest growing global industries making it an exciting time to get involved.

A dynamic and inclusive programme will develop positive attitudes towards healthy active lifestyles, helping our students to become confident, ambitious, lifelong advocates of sport.
It will act as a stepping stone to a range of occupations inspiring many to establish careers in this sector. We work closely with universities and employers to ensure our learners are equipped with skills they need to progress into higher education or directly into the workplace.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

The course is 100% internal assessment, there are no external examinations on this course. Students create a portfolio of work containing written assignments, presentations, research projects, analytical reports, and evidence of practical performance. We work closely with universities to ensure our students are equipped to meet their requirements.

Entry requirements

You will need to meet the Applied General entry requirements of 4 GCSEs at grade 4 including English Language and/or Maths.
