Course Summary
The core maths course allows students to build on their mathematical studies. The content is based around the GCSE Maths Higher Tier with around 20% taken from other qualifications such as A level maths. It is designed for students who do not wish to study a full maths A level course, but are studying courses that require some mathematical knowledge including business studies, geography, psychology and the sciences.
Course Details
This course provides practice with useful maths skills for students studying courses including A level business studies, geography, psychology and the sciences. Students will learn and apply real-world maths skills such as dealing with personal finance.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
There are 2 papers taken at the end of the course. Each paper is 1 hr 30 mins long.
