Love nails, beauty and creating amazing designs? Our VTCT Level 2 Diploma in NVQ Nail Technology is designed to give you the practical skills, confidence and industry knowledge you need to start building a career as a professional Nail Technician.

You’ll learn in a professional, realistic salon environment, developing your skills through hands-on training and working with clients. From consultation and preparation through to creating professional nail enhancements and finishes, you’ll build the confidence and skills needed to work in the real beauty industry.

Our aim is to help you complete the programme feeling confident, creative and ready to take your first steps into the nail industry!

By completing your Level 2 qualification and developing your practical experience, you can progress into employment or an apprenticeship and work towards a role as a Nail Technician or Junior Nail Technician.

You’ll develop much more than technical nail skills. You’ll build the confidence, consultation, communication, professionalism and client care needed to work effectively with clients and deliver a professional salon experience.

Maths and English

Alongside your Nail course, you’ll also continue working on your Maths and English. If you achieve a Grade 3 or below in Maths and English, you’ll work towards Functional Skills qualifications as part of your programme.
If you achieve a Grade 4 or above, then you will be exempt from completing Maths and English.

Grade 2 or above in Maths and English, however, we do review on a case by case basis. This qualification includes a range of assignments, exams and practical assessments.

Learners must be keen to learn, and be able to commit to 2.5 - 3 days attendance per week. Our expected minimum attendance is above 90%.
