Level 2 Marketing (Technical Certificate)

This exciting new study programme allows you to specialise in a subject that is vital to the success of all businesses.

You will study a BTEC Technical Certificate in Marketing which includes an overview of marketing theories, how businesses market their products and services, the use of digital marketing and creating a marketing campaign.

Assessment of the BTEC Marketing qualification is by externally set assignments and an examination. The assessment of the event planning is by internally set assignments and practical tasks.

This course is classroom based and you will be encouraged to use our on-line learning resources to further support and develop your knowledge, skills and exam technique away from the classroom. Guest speakers and external business-related activities really bring your business subjects to life.

All study programmes contain English and maths elements.

You will undertake work experience as part of this programme.

You can progress to Level Three BTEC Diploma in Business or employment in the business, customer service, event planning and service industries, such as tourism, or an apprenticeship.
