Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing Studies

You will learn in a professional salon workspace with our curriculum meeting the needs of the modern salon environment. Working with highly qualified and experienced staff, our programmes have been carefully designed to inspire, motivate, and ensure those in the Hull area can be the very best they can be in the Hair & Beauty sector. Learners on our programmes will gain worldwide recognised qualifications from VTCT in Hairdressing, or Beauty Therapy, and will also undertake English, and Maths if required.

VTCT Level 2 Hairdressing Studies

This qualification includes the skills needed to work in today’s industry at a Junior Stylist. Progression includes L3 Hairdressing, and would also ensure you have the required skills to progress further to the likes of Bridal Hair Styling, and Hair Extensions.

This qualification consists of both theory and practical sessions. You will be required to complete assignments outside of the course, and complete a number of practical assessments on clients. There are numerous exams to be completed within this qualification.

Commitment to learning is required, along with a minimum of 90% or above attendance.

Strong Maths and English is required as this qualification includes multiple written assignments, and exams.

On completion, you will have the option to progress onto Level 3 Hairdressing. (Please note Maths and English must be achieved to progress).
