  • Equality, diversity and rights in health and social care
  • Human growth and development
  • Safeguarding and protection in health and social care

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Learners must pass the unit assessments for the 3 mandatory units that will be marked and assessed internally and externally.

Entry requirements

In GCSE English Language and Maths, a minimum of a grade 3 in one and a grade 2 in the other plus some GCSEs at grades 3 or 4

Your next steps...

Many students find that the year gives them thinking space and helps them to decide what they want to do in the future. On successful completion you can move onto the next stage of study at the College, find an apprenticeship or go into employment. Your Guidance Support Tutor will explore all of your options with you and help you decide what’s right for you.
