Hair and Beauty - Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Hairdressing

This qualification will allow you to improve your Hairdressing skills and take them to a more advanced level, working on models and clients.

Please note that this course is designed for those who have completed a Level 2 NVQ qualification or equivalent.

You will be assessed on:

Consultation

Creatively Cut Hair

Creatively Colouring Hair

Creatively Style and Dress Hair

Additional units to be selected from:

Colour Correction Services

Providing Specialist Hair and Scalp Treatments

Providing Creative Hair Extension Services

Cut men’s hair styles

Fulfil salon duties

Coursework/Exam/continuous practical assessment.

For this course you must have successfully completed the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Hairdressing.

If you have not achieved a Grade 4 or above in GCSE English and/or Maths you will be required to continue studying these alongside your college course.

After the Level 3 you can then move on to a university to study the subject further.
