How Will it be Delivered?
The course will be delivered through teacher led lessons, practical investigations, problem solving practice, coursework and independent study. Students’ progress will be monitored through regular assessment and independent learning. This is monitored throughout the course.
Assessment:
BTEC Applied Science is assessed externally by three exam papers (two in Year 12 and one in Year 13) and one internally assessed coursework unit based on lab work.

After completing a BTEC in Applied Science, you can progress to a range of exciting pathways.
