AAQ Extended Certificate in Engineering

A vocational qualification equivalent to one A-level, designed for students aiming for higher education or careers in engineering.

It includes four mandatory units: Engineering Principles, Engineering Applications, Engineering Design, and an Engineering Project. The course blends theoretical knowledge with practical skills, covering topics like mathematical techniques, CAD design, and project management.

Assessment is split evenly between external exams and internal coursework.

Alongside our standard entry requirements for Level 3 study, students should have at least grade 4s in Science GCSE and ideally a 6 in Maths.

The qualification emphasizes problem-solving, technical understanding, and real-world application, preparing learners for university study, apprenticeships, or employment in various engineering sectors.
