Over the course of two years student will study the topics:

- Thermal physics
- Fields and their consequences
- Nuclear physics
A optional topic from a choice of:

- Turning points in physics

How will it be delivered and assessed?
How Will it be Delivered?
The course will be delivered through teacher led lessons, practical investigations, problem solving practice and independent study. Students progress will be monitored through regular assessments and independent learning. This is monitored throughout the course.
Assessment:
A level physics is assessed by three exam papers at the end of year 13. Marks are divided equally between the three. Topics are split between paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 3 will examine the practical skills and data analysis of the students alongside the optional topic.
