How will it be delivered and assessed?
How Will it be Delivered?
The course will be delivered through teacher led lessons, practical investigations, problem solving practice and independent study. Students’ progress will be monitored through regular assessment and independent learning. This is monitored throughout the course.
Assessment:
A level chemistry is assessed by three exam papers at the end of year 13. Marks are divided equally between the three. Topics are split between paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 3 will examine practical techniques and data analysis.

Completing A Level Chemistry opens up many exciting opportunities. You can progress to university degrees such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, or Environmental Science.
