Students who were under 24 as at the 31st August who do not already hold a Level 3 qualification (eg. A levels or Level 3 BTec) may not have to pay fees, this is dependent on your postcode. All other students can apply for the Advanced Learner Loan to cover the fees. This is a type of student loan, but if you progress to university and complete your degree, the loan will be cancelled and consequently your Access course will be free. Course Summary

Our Level 3 courses are designed to give learners the UCAS points needed to progress to university. The courses are fully online courses, where you can access the course materials and assessments 24 hours a day. The course takes 6-12 months to complete.

Course Details

Throughout this course you study 18 units over different subject areas including Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Some of the units are:

  • The Major Laws of Physics
  • Human Musculoskeletal System
  • Chemistry of Drugs and Medicine
  • Infection & Immunity

How will it be delivered and assessed?

You will be assessed through a variety of different methods, including written essays, presentations and timed control assessments.

Entry requirements

GCSE Grade 9-4 in English and Maths.

GCSE Grade 9-4 in Science would be beneficial.
