Candidate to have the following:

• Good work ethic
• Willing to learn and achieve NVQ3

Would be taught and become efficient in the following:

• Painting and decorating
• Wall coverings
• Wide vinyl
• Airless and pressure spraying,
• Specialist finishes and restoration.
• Tape and jointing.

The learner would be based in the Hull based spray shop and attending local sites until qualified, they would then be required to work on sites away from home on various projects across Europe.

Eventually being trained on

• working at height equipment such as mobile towers and MEWPS (Mobile elevated platforms)

Painting and decorating can be a dirty and dangerous work activity with working at height and using some products that could harm you if inhaled or contact to skin.

Future Prospects

Full time employment as part of a fit out team on retail projects throughout Europe with good learning prospects.
