Course Details

Site Carpentry

Level 3 Training Units:

  • Health and safety
  • Technical Information
  • Analysing construction
  • First fix
  • Second fix
  • Shaping machinery
  • Complex structural carcassing
  • Maintain non structural elements

Level 3 NVQ Diploma Units:

  • Health and safety
  • Work activities and resources
  • Working relationships
  • Method of work
  • Cutting machines
  • Bespoke first fix
  • Bespoke second fix

Optional units:

  • Structural carcassing
  • Maintenance
  • Complex roofs

How will it be delivered and assessed?

  • Knowledge test
  • Work presentations
  • Work projects
  • Gateway and end point assessment (practical, theory exam)

Entry requirements

A - C/7 - 4 in Maths and English, however previous experience could be considered.
