Course Summary

These courses are ideally suited to people working in industry who wish to develop new skills or want to work at a more advanced level. A working knowledge of 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) or computing is essential.

Course Details

For more experienced Parametric Modellers, the intermediate course could be more appropriate. On this Level 2 course the user will advance to an intermediate level of SolidWorks Modelling and Editing commands. Advanced Parametric skills can be acquired on our Level 3 course. This course is designed to advance the skills of the user, in Assembly Drawings, Motion Study and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using SolidWorks Simulation Express.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

These courses have a high practical element that blends learning to use new technologies and working towards a recognised Computer Aided Design qualification naturally.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements; although a basic knowledge of an engineering or construction industry can be an advantage. Computer literacy is not essential as assistance will be offered.
