Are you 16-29 years old?

Do you live in Hull? Are you currently unemployed or not in any other education or training?

The Key Workers on the YEI programme offer a full wrap-around support package to help those participants on the programme to overcome any barriers they are facing which could be preventing them moving forward into work education or training.

Course Details

Experienced Key Workers offer 1-2-1 support and complete an assessment with each individual to identify their needs. Support, advice and guidance will be offered. Each Key Worker works in a holistic, person-centred and flexible approach, to ensure each barrier is addressed and overcome.

These barriers may include;

Housing/ tenancy issues

Money/debt issues

Benefit issues

Confidence / self-esteem

Health conditions

Substance misuse

Childcare

Anti-Social Behaviour

The Key Workers will then work together with other delivery providers within the Springboard Youth Employment project, to help you gain suitable qualifications and work experience, to enable you to secure the skills needed to move into your chosen field.

Designated progression Key Workers can help you find employment within your chosen sector. They will offer 1-2-1 support in CV and cover-letter writing, job searches and applications, interview skills and interview preparation, as well as ongoing support while in employment.

This will be discussed with you and agreed depending on individual needs.
