Course Summary

The Government is committed to ensuring that everyone working in the construction industry on site is qualified and competent in health and safety. Successful completion of this course will ensure you meet these criteria, gving you health and safety tested status and resulting in the awarding of a CSCS card. The card scheme has been designed to make access to a construction site easier, as it can reduce the amount of site induction that is required. Many contractors are already asking for all workers on their sites to hold CSCS cards. Although health and safety tested status can reduce the amount of site health and safety induction required, some site-specific health and safety induction may also be required. The issue of this card does not relieve the site managers from their legal obligation to ensure the health, safety and welfare of people entering their sites.

Course Details

During the two-day course a qualified instructor will ensure that all areas of site health and safety are covered and that all learning material is relevant for the test and for when you are working on site. In order to obtain a CSCS card you will be required to sit an online multiple choice test.
