Care and Early Years - Self-harm and Suicide Prevention

Deadlines will be set and a tutor allocated who will be available to help with problems and queries as well as providing feedback.

This course is suitable for anyone who would like to know more about how to help people who self-harm or who may contemplate suicide.

Unit 1 - Introduction to suicide and self-harm awareness

Unit 2 - Recognising the signs of suicide and self-harm in individuals

Unit 3 - The principles of suicide and self-harm prevention

Unit 4 - Support for individuals when dealing with grief after suicide

You will be allocated a tutor who will provide feedback.
