This course will equip you with knowledge and understanding across a range of topics, and prepares you for further study at Level 3, or to work in a range of roles within the health and social care sector.

You will study the following units:

• Equality, Diversity and Rights in Health & Social Care

• Human Growth & Development

• Safeguarding & Protection in Health & Social Care

How will it be delivered and assessed?

You will be assessed in several ways during your qualification to support your skill development for working in the Health & Social Care sector. This may include presentations, written work and case studies.

Entry requirements

A successful interview and GCSE Grade D/3 or equivalent in English. You should have an interest in the subject, and experience of working in the Health & Social Care sector will also be considered.
