Course Summary
This apprenticeship aims to give people the skills and knowledge needed to work in administrative roles in a variety of organisations. These include administrators, office juniors, receptionists and junior legal or medical secretaries.
Course Details
Communication in a business environment Principles of providing administrative services Principles of business document production and information management Understanding employer organisations Managing personal performance and development Developing working relationships with colleagues Plus optional units which suit the needs of the business.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
The course is assessed through observation, underpinning knowledge questions and the development of a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate competence for the NVQ and on-line tests and assignments for the technical certificate. There is also arequirement to complete the following elements: Employee Rights and Responsibilities workbook and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills.
Entry requirements
