Course Summary
Our BBO provision sits within the NLC Action Station. This programme champions participants aged 25+, who need support to find work or support to move nearer to the employment market. The course is designed to make participants less socially isolated.
Our USP is that we give 100% attention and care to all-comers. We nurture them along a bespoke pathway to success. Resilience is our corporate mission of supporting individuals to function in a very vibrant, labour market; therefore, applying our North Lincolnshire Council ethos of ‘building resilience’, we engage in activities that will build confidence, and personal and digital skills. Then, we concentrate on training that will enhance a current CV. Our team have a very good understanding of the local labour market that allows us to successfully sell skills to employers.
Course Details
Our offer is a pathway of experiences that will enhance forward thinking. Working with a keyworker, you will complete a series of activities to build up your CV and gain solid work references. You will select your own activities; throughout, you will be supported by a keyworker.
Our activities include: Get Active, Get Smart, Get A Job, Get Connected, Get DigiSmart; then, working closely with each client to identify suitable and appropriate activities and training courses.
We will also encourage you to improve your lifestyle by referring you to other agencies who can help you with: benefits, debts, health, stopping smoking and substance misuse, housing and depression and anxiety.

This will be discussed with you and agreed depending on individual needs.
