Course Summary
Becoming a Civil Engineering Apprentice is a great opportunity for young people to "earn while you learn".
As the construction industry is growing within your local area there is a need to train young people to become the next generation of tradesperson.
You will work with your employer four days per week and attend your training provider for 1 day per week to gain knowledge and skills to assist you within the workplace.
Throughout this qualification you will cover all aspects of Civil Engineering to include Health & Safety, Understanding Civil Engineering Technology, Lay Domestic Drainage and Place and finish non-specialist concrete.
So if you are a practical learner, motivated by civil engineering and want to earn money while you learn then an apprenticeship in civil engineering is for you.
Course Details
Throughout your apprenticeship you will cover the following qualifications;

CSkills Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Construction Operations and Civil Engineering Services - Construction Operations (Construction)

CSkills Level 2 Diploma in Construction Operations - General Construction (Construction)

Functional Skills in Maths

Functional Skills in English
- Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
How will it be delivered and assessed?
For the delivery of this apprenticeship you must be employed.
The NVQ Diploma will be delivered within the workplace with the support of your employer.
Diploma, Functional Skills, ERR will be delivered within the Orchard Hull building, 100 New Cleveland Street, Hull, HU8 7HE
Entry requirements
The minimum age requirement for this qualification is 16+; there are no further entry requirements to take this qualification. This means that you can undertake this qualification without any previous training or qualifications in this subject area.
Your next steps...
After completing your intermediate apprenticeship programme we will be working with your employer to progress you to an advanced programme where you can further develop within your specialist area.
After gaining work experience in the chosen occupational area there are also opportunities to progress into occupational work supervision, management or technical support areas.
