Unity in Community

Unity in Community are based in the HU6 area  and activity is in essence information, advice and guidance for employment.  Support will be given from a dedicated key worker and beneficiaries will have access to accredited training for employment along with numeracy and literacy,  IT & Digital and non accredited employability skills.

Unity in Community’s accredited training cover generic work based qualifications like Health and Safety, Fire Safety and First Aid at Work whilst also allowing for beneficiaries to gain sector-cased qualifications such as CSCS cards or Microsoft Office Training.   

Training is delivered both face to face and online.  We have a strong relationship with the HU6 community and understand the challenges they face in their lives.   Through these links we can identify those that need additional support to access or move closer to accessing the labour market.
