T Levels
T Levels
T Levels are a 2-year technical qualification that could be categorised as a 'hybrid course' combining elements of academic courses (e.g. A levels) and vocational qualifications (e.g. BTECs) plus significant work experience. T Levels are equal to three A levels, they have a vocational focus, they were designed with employers to bring together classroom learning, and an extended industry placement. They can be a good choice if you have finished your GCSEs and want the knowledge and experience to get straight into employment, an apprenticeship or higher education.
- You’ll spend 80% of your time in the classroom.
- One day per week (20% of your time) on a 45-day work placement to give you the skills and knowledge companies are looking for.
T Levels
T Levels are a technical qualification, providing an alternative to other 16 to 19 courses.
