T Levels
T Levels
T Levels are a 2-year qualification that could be categorised as a 'hybrid' of academic courses (e.g. A levels) and vocational qualifications (e.g. BTECs). They combine the academic study of an A level with a focus on vocational skills and significant work experience. They are two year full-time courses equal to three A levels. They were designed with employers to bring together classroom learning and an extended industry placement. They can be a good choice if you have finished your GCSEs and want the knowledge and experience to get straight into employment, an apprenticeship or higher education.
- You’ll spend 80% of your time in the classroom
- and 20% on a 45-day placement with an employer to give you the skills and knowledge companies look for.

T Levels are an alternative to A levels, apprenticeships and other 16 to 19 courses. Find out more.
