Who are they?
The British Armed Forces are military forces including the British Army, Royal Navy, Royal Marines and Royal Air Force.
What do they do?
They are responsible for the defence of the United Kingdom, its Overseas Territories and the Crown Dependencies. They promote the UK's global safety and security through international peacekeeping, humanitarian efforts and when required combat.
If you are considering joining one of the armed forces it is important to research what you are signing up for… who they are, what do they do, where can a career in the armed forces take you. Most importantly, what roles are available to excite and interest you - Youth Cadets, Reserves, Regulars or Officer positions.
