Course Summary

This qualification gives successful learners a broad introduction to the practices and processes of engineering technology. It takes a hands-on approach to basic engineering training, allowing successful learners to gain experience and understanding of a range of potential careers in the sector it is a stepping stone to further study and skills development allowing learners to develop the personal skills to work effectively and achieve their potential.

You will have options to cover the practical skills and underpinning knowledge on: - Welding and fabrication - Marine engineering - Motorcycle engineering - Electrical engineering - Manufacturing engineering - Electronic engineering

How will it be delivered?

You will be assessed by a range of techniques to include, observation of carrying out practical activities in workshops, oral questioning, written reports and online testing
